This book is now scaring and depressing me. I need something else to happen, rather than reading the diaries of Naoki’s mom.

This book is gonna be a 5 stars I can already tell. It’s so confusing, it’s so fun and despite the long ass chapters it’s got me compelled. The characters are so insane, I love it.

‘I’ll call the two killers A and B from now on” this book has me so gripped already.

Joan feels like a second version of Esther, everything that she was or wanted to be, buddy’s girlfriend, an ambitions and successful person. And how ironic that when Esther failed at committing suicide, Joan went and did it the first time, maybe that was she wasn’t grieved by her death that much, not out of envy but out of understanding.

Definitely not a comfort book at all.

This book is my comfort book from right now, idc. “She wants to be everything” I’m so done. Esther is me, me is Esther!!

Esther is so damn relatable, I can’t. When she talked about physics and chemistry I knew I found my person.

I want to add one more. ‘Do you love me’- I guess. ‘Do you want to marry me’-Yes.

Bro just does not care. He just does not care about his life, about career, it’s like he is just here to live, serve his time and goodbye. ‘Call the cops’- No I don’t like them. ‘I beat a woman’- okay. ‘Do you love your mother’- I don’t know. ‘You committed a murder’- yes. ‘You regret it’- I don’t know. He’s just a chill guy.

Weird, this book is just straight up weird. It’s such a small book, and I’m half way in but I still have no idea what its purpose is. I’m like why is it even written ? But ig we’ll soon know.

This book is so beautiful, it’s making me cry, so so beautiful. Btw I thought Matryona was a spider before, I thought that he made friends with the spider at his home, but I was wrong, she is his maid, that was so embarrassing.

Few pages in and I’m already loving the protagonist. I just love how every Dostoevsky’s character is a bit insane. This one is the lonely kind, not having anyone to go to, when everybody is going to their dacha, he’s made acquaintances with the whole of Petersburg in his mind, even got the houses memorised and every person’s face, made friends with the spider in his room, I love him, I feel him.

Now it’s getting interesting

Sorry, I forget to update you, I’m barely able to finish this book, cause my exams are coming, hence it’s taking so long. Right now nothing major has happened, it’s certainly not boring just slow, as you’d expect, so nothing to be shocked about. Ig major things will probably start to happen in the last 100 pages, probably the part six.

“Your worst sin is that you’ve destroyed and betrayed yourself for nothing” wow just wow, this whole chapter were he talked to Sonya, was just so thrilling, and so meaningful. Loved it.

Forgot to update you. I didn’t knew I’d be saying this about a classic but this book is certainly so easy to read and get through, already at part four, for the entirety of part three this guy just yapped and yapped, I enjoyed it but I forgot that he even committed a crime, it was like starting a whole new book. Now interesting stuff is happening at the end of part three and I’m focused.

Dostoevsky is a certified yapper, 100 pages in and then something finally happened, and now all there is,is yapping again, it’s not like I’m complaining, I’m enjoying it nonetheless but brother do something, where is the crime? Why are we all of a sudden discussing how it’s important to listen to the youth with Petrovich ?

100 pages in and it was all the bickerings of an average Russian guy, normal classic experience, and now this book sounds like a modern day thriller somehow.

Why kill that gray mare ?, it was so devastating and horrible to read.

What kind of names do these people even have? I can’t even pronounce Raskolnikov properly.

Lauren Robert’s the genius you are. The way I gasped at every plot twist, this is so crazy. Technically Kai and Paedyn are also step siblings, but who cares, we’re just gonna politely ignore this information. It was so funny to read, like every person was shocked by so many details, while Kai was just smiling and laughing to know that the wedding has to cancel because Kitt and Paedyn are siblings 😂.

Okay, I literally felt like a genius because I figured it out that Paedyn was the powerless daughter of Iris, but then boom, because I didn’t even think of Calum being Iris’s secret lover, and only that him being Paedyn’s father and not only that but he also betrayed the resistance, because he was the King’s mind reader, Lauren Robert’s killed it with this one.

Why tf do you all hate Adena so much, what did she even do ? Why do you have to harm Adena when anything plot twist worthy has to take place. First I couldn’t bear Adena’s death and just as I barely recovered, you kill Mak, I don’t want to read any further, the story has officially ended for me, I’m done and now I’m burning this god damn book. Kill Pae and Kai & bring back Adena and Mak!! I have had enough

There is no fucking way Kai can die, there is no way, tf is happening here ?

Wtf did just happen ??!!! How did Kitt even allow of this, excuse me ?? And how did Kai even agree ?? And why tf those this stupid arena has to take away everything from Paedyn every single time ???
