I fear it’s already not looking good folks - I was not anticipating to feel like I was reading a Hunger Games/Divergent fanfiction with more overt child marriage.

The players are slowly but surely coming together, the stakes are being drawn, the world(s) have begun to reveal themselves; it’s becoming more and more apparent to me why the author provided a cast list at the beginning - it really does almost read like a play.

That being said, I think it’s suffering a bit from not letting us get in good quality time with most of the relevant characters.

Unknowable forces continue to gather, amongst their number the motivations of some of these characters…
