Okay I cannot do it

Oh, joy. Isabel thinks All College Students are pretentious. Nice to know that getting an education makes me unappealing.

Isabel's narrative voice is too much. I can't do it. All she does is put down everyone and I do not need that kind of negativity in my life tbh

How did this book get good reviews ???? I hate everyone in this book...why am I supposed to root for someone that would distribute child pornagraphy be they think they deserve it???

This book is really...boring. Maybe it's my dislike of military novels (the book includes a military veteran who occasionally mentions her experiences in the military)...

eh.....it feels a little predictable so far.

It's pretty funny but idk... Miss Marple just isn't too entertaining to me.

This was an amazing book!! *cough cough James Joyce take note cough cough* it's especially enjoyable when done in conjunction with watching The Hours

I really like this book?? Especially Peter/Clarissa, as well as Clarissa/Sally. The book reminds me of The Awakening.

I didn't initially enjoy this, as I came into the book expecting something similar to Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. However, I enjoy Clarissa's voice, as well as the focus on femininity in Victorian society.

I love Shakespeare. There is no better place to read drama (and it gives me a good excuse to listen to my Shakespeare playlist)

This book makes me v v v sleepy, and even though I can SEE what Joyce is trying to achieve, I could barely care. I am quickly finding out that I do not care for the Modernist movement. Not at all.

This is so, so bad. Luke is a laughable attempt at a love interest- he calls her 'pretty girl', which I find disgusting and their romance is founded on nothing. Meanwhile, the only character that has any substance is James and is the only character that is likable. Also, the reveal of them having magic powers is so anticlimatic in a way that ruins the whole fantasy aspect.
