The idea of political discourse completely gone in the county is more affirmed for me.
I was awed at how podcasts rise in popularity in contrast to the distrust of the media, who will not say the hard things. Podcasts represent just a casual conversation not without analysis- which is what we have lost and are now seeking refuge through pods.

Will we survive Trumpism?
Most chilling thought: the lexicon we use can be hijacked to ultimately rob us of sharing constructed realities. :(

DeVon McIntyre is on page 48 of 480 of Humanity: A Moral History of the Twentieth Century
Humans have moral resources innate to their psychology, which exist in tandem to the restraints of social pressures.
The greatest atrocities of humanity occur via the erosion of the moral resources. A matter of Conciousness is established as well as removed in the process i.e. dehumanization.

The global powers of the 20th century fought all up and down this country, and I'm just sad. The people turned on each other as power switched hands so many times, only to stay divided. Ransacked again and again, a national identity built by generational robbery. Makes me think that change-agents are the only "heros", that to breathe the status-quo is to justify present oppression rooted in historical savagery.
