I’m one who thinks that I should read classic literature to expand my literary horizons and as this book is on most Must Read lists, I decided to read it. Years ago, I watched the movie Lolita starring Jeremy Irons & Dominique Swain and recall that I didn’t like it. I don’t like this book either. I don’t like Humbert Humbert or Lolita. This book is tedious, pretentious & suffers from way too many adjectives.
