These last few chapters have been terrible. Really slow, Gosseyn II is going back and forth to the palace, talking to enemies, and thinking of suicide. I hope the story gets back on track now that he has a taste from Hardie.

Mars already attacked!? I thought the war would t escalate til book 2. This means that Eros may move towards Earth by the end. Is Miller going to die @ the end?

Still confused about null-A. The main antagonists are all mostly dead. I feel like the story is going right into the main twist at the halfway point!

Holy crap, he's dead! Was he a psychic or something? There is going to be a lot of brain talk, I can feel it coming.

I wonder when Perrin's dream walking will be explained. Seems pretty strong, for not being able to channel. Glad we got Matt's "death" out of the way. Can't wait to see how he uses the spear he acquired.

It's been nice that we jump back to read another character's POV. I wonder if this will continue throughout the book. Everyone is splitting up, so their stories should be separate and unique going forward.

Main character already has amnesia or is brainwashed? This should be fun.

A quarter through the book and the squad looks ready to split up again. Matt is in-between everybody; I wonder which way he will go.

Rand is developing his abilities quickly, even if he's just guessing his way through. There's got to be some tragedy coming soon where he makes a mistake. I wonder if he will have a big group accompany him in his next trip out in the world.

Rod is definitely going to get himself killed. Unless he comes into view as a Messiah. He is causing problems.

It's a shame these books are so short. I will finish it next time I pick it up! Good balance of combat this far. Exploring a new facility is fun. There must be some revelation coming up that will tie into the overall series plot. Can't see it yet though.

Can he handle being a "cat man?" I think he will not be able to handle the inequality. Unless the doctor does surgery to reverse it quickly.

The king is definitely going to die.

Holden seems very level headed and halfway strategic already. I like that it takes time to fly places, unlike Star Wars where they just end up at their destination in a day.

Is the farm boy going to be Uber important? Seems a little on the nose if he connects with some rare furies later on.

Didn't expect a saucy romance to emerge. Glad there's some murder to balance it out.

Seems to be very close to the show (I watched it all). I enjoy the suspense I'm left with after introducing each major character.

Lots of characters off the bat. No sign of the drug yet really. It would seem rich folk have just built themselves towns that resemble the past.

The Wal-Mart fight was sort of cheesy. Dresden is a little too tough, I think. I'm excited to see how he fight his next opponent or if he will just talk his way through getting the Mantle returned.

I wonder if Rod will join the military. He must be taking his spiek off-world to use offensively if they've let him live.

A new character!? Perrin is going to be on over his head. I can feel it.

There's not enough time for wizard training. I can't figure how this is going to end. I'm sure it'll be a surprise.

I don't trust Elaine. It's funny that the Winter Lady was easy enough to outwit. Probably going to bring trouble.

The prequel story is taking me for a ride. The synopsis is right there in the first sentence. "She was a girly girl and they were true men, the Lord's of creation, but she pitted her wits against them and she won."

So complicated! Holy cow there are so many new characters

Did godmother seriously sell his contract? Seems crazy but okay, cool. Scary new villain to outwit.

Book is getting better. I'm blown away he did a fully body reformation. Didn't expect a school yard type story at this academy.

I wonder how the Unseen wizards will take to her. Can wizards steal power from people untaught?

The real world!? Lame! Get back to the fantastical place with witches, please.
