Yesterday had generational crashout potential (I watched the Wild lose to the stars while getting ready and had one of my two longest exams of the semester) but I handled it like a champ

Not Goodreads telling me its servers aren’t working when I’m trying to rate a book 5 stars like I didn’t just write a 1 star review without issues (guess it’s so outlandish gr can’t even process the thought of me liking something lol)

I either need more mutuals with similar reading preferences to expose me to books I’ll actually like or fewer mutuals who read popular fiction because either way, I keep getting fomo about books I inevitably end up hating and it really needs to stop 💀

Been watching a lot of movies lately, might start doing updates with movies I watched and liked once in a while

When the reading slump is so bad I can barely even get myself to listen to audiobooks for more than an hour or so at a time

I just watched Project Hail Mary with my dad and holy shit??? It was so good, I’m seriously considering changing my rating for the book from 4.5 to 5 because I had the realisation that it’s almost definitely my favourite sci-fi story

When they think they know me but think my favourite book is The Secret History (only real ones know it’s actually a Scream (1996) rewrite fanfic)

I’m sick and genuinely have no motivation to read with my eyeballs so playing on my iPad while listening to audiobooks it is for now

It has been brought to my attention that my type in men is literally just guys who look vaguely like Prince Charming (as in the blonde guy from Shrek). I’m unsure how to feel about this revelation.
