So far I have very mixed feelings about this book. I think the graphic depictions of Lizzie getting abused as a child is horrific and unnecessary? The over sexualisation is hard to read like in scenes when she is dressed as posh spice at 10 or passionately snogging Hugh at 11? The way both characters describe it is weird knowing they are children.
