I'm getting B.K Borison vibes and I love it. It truly fits the 90's rom-com model and the setting plus aesthetic of the book is strong.

I'm having such conflicted feelings about this book and I hope things begin to change. The flashback was nice but the allure of the Rebel Blue world Lyla created is beginning to fade. There's a fine line when writing in a niche romance genre, you have to find ways to keep it fresh and make it stand out, and so far it's mediocre.

It’s sad that I’m already drafting my review. That’s a bad sign.

The anxiety in this book isn’t healthy and I truly hope we aren’t normalizing and romanticizing characters that need professional help. We’re on a slippery slope with this one.
