Ok, never mind, life is too short to keep reading a book that is simply not for me... I have already caught myself skimreading multiple times, and I really couldn't care less about another display of ridiculous wealth and high society gossip. DNF it is!

I'm not sure this one is for me... The sheer amount of characters is confusing and I honestly don't care about all that high society talk.

"A tingle of periwinkle curiosity prickled her senses." And with anything but 'periwinkle' curiosity, I now throw in the towel and give up. I like the idea behind this story, but there is no proper worldbuilding to speak of yet, the writing is infuriating and I can't stand the characters. Not even starting with the romance and love triangle vibe. Ugh. Bye bye Caraval, you were definitely not for me!
