I was following the argument… then in the beginning of chapter 6 the author intentionally misquotes a President, and now I am becoming suspicious that the prior examples may have similar flaws.

This is one of those books that step-by-step shows you how what you believe is true may, in fact, not be true. So far, it has clearly shown how the definition of probability as the frequency of an occurrence is inconsistent and incompatible with our intuition that probability means "chance that something is X" (where X is an event or occurrence we can speculate about happening or not).

I love books like this that point to flaws in conventional thinking.

So much I do not care for in this book, but also some interesting ways of using language that I've not experienced much before (if ever). I mean, listening to the book makes me feel like I'm hearing someone play with the ways narratives are expressed, and it's not all negative. But it's not all that enjoyable, either.

Long book. Even 1/5 in I’m still wondering “what’s the point?”

I already know a lot about the events chronicled here, but I am really enjoying learning about them with the author's explanations and additional details.

I’m re-listening to the audio book one more time before I attend my book club on Wednesday where THE AUTHOR WILL BE ATTENDING.

I've been really looking forward to reading this new book.

Later the author confuses "emotions" and "feelings" but most writers make that same mistake. Still, it's mostly good stuff here.

He connects many mental aspects to physical constructs in the brain, but I wonder how many of those analogies will be changed as brain science improves.

Starts off strong, but I believe the author may be confusing the concepts of "data," "information," and "knowledge" in his analysis, which could lead to some organizational errors in his own thinking later on.

It reads like a techo-thriller, and it is about a current event I'm familiar with, so it's also like reading recent history. I'm enjoying it so far.

so far, lots of interesting nuggets about how the supply chain works, and the history of shipping and road transportation.

It's tragic the problems that the overland truckers face.

I would be totally lost if I did not read the wikipedia page for this book.

Long book... weirdly presented. I'm about a third of the way in and I'm not enjoying it much. Even this far in, I'm not sure I could tell you what the book is about without reading the wikipedia page on it.
