My first Detective Battle mystery and I liked him a lot. Chimneys is the name of a house (only the English!) and 8 years prior to the story, a robery took place there. Now delicate negoations are happening and current and past result in murder. Detective Battle is one of her better creations and I wish she'd spent more time on him.
