I am so excited to be reading this last book! I've been waiting for so long. It has the makings of a fantasy classic, even though for the moment it is relegated to cult hit.

I can't wait to see what happens with the genetically engineered octopus

I really like what she has to say, and aesthetically I really enjoy the layout. But I also feel like I'm on a scenic tour of a range of platitudes from famous peolple. I prefer the parts where she is talking about her own experience rather than dipping in and out of other people's words and experiences, because it's beginning to feel like name dropping.

Enjoying the world building and casual bio-mods more than the actual plot, which is minimally explored and fairly repetitive at this point.

Ugh. Ew. Not comfortable.
