if he had said he knew with the words I would not have believed that he had been there and saw us. But he said he did know and I said “Are you going to tell pa are you going to kill him?” without the words I said it and he said “Why?” without the words. And that’s why I can talk to him with knowing with hating because he knows.

That was a bad example, but I knew what she meant. It meant that to create was a fundament, to appreciate, a supplement. Once created, the creature was separate from the creator, and needed no seconding to fully exist.

Decent book and I like the way that the book explores solidarity between different groups, horizontal hostility and also the exploration of how/if members of oppressed groups in the their home country should help members of oppressed groups in the country that they are currently living in. But ultimately this book is a little too preachy for me, and kind of reads like a old television special “spreading awareness
