This is my Everest.
I’m enjoying it, but it feels like I’m attempting to tame a great unruly beast.

I lost a bet at work and now I have to read this. It’s poorly written and pretty silly. I’ll finished it, out of spite most likely.

Ah man, me and the boys would so get snatched first. The impending dread that sits over all the characters makes me nervous.

The western vibe is immaculate once more, but the book feels disjointed - as if it is two tales masquerading as one. Hopefully they connect at the end.

Why is this book going at the same slow pace as the first, when it’s only 1/3rd of the length. Hopefully things get crazy bananas soon

First story was fun and Flashman is the worst, but love trying to understand is moral compass. Gotta find his next adventures before I can come back to this.

I’m reading the flashman papers in chronological order. This book is split into two time periods so I have to read books 7 and 8 before returning to this one, book 6.
