I’m listening to this one as an audio book bc I don’t have high hopes for it tbh. So far I think it’s interesting and the narrator is good so the writing style isnt bothering me. If you do plan on starting this then expect A LOT of worldbuilding dumped onto your head. As well as a little too many characters and history for the second chapter but I think I understand now ig so 🤷‍♀️

Am I the only one who gets stupidly and ridiculously excited when someone asks for book recommendations? Bc I feel like I’ve been given some high stakes mission and I try to narrow down possibilities to get exactly what the person is vibing for at that moment

Not book related but-
There are people in this world who find it perfectly fine to hurt other countries and groups of people and strip them of life just because it’ll ’benefit’ them. It’s disgusting, we all live in the same small planet, taking life away from innocent people won’t make yours any longer.

This went from a four star to a five star to a three star and I have a feeling things will continue going down hill if this doesn’t fix itself up…

You don’t need to read hundreds of books to count as a ‘real reader.’ You don’t need to OWN bookshelves upon bookshelves to be aesthetically like booktok influencers. Let your gr goal be something only for yourself, not a stressing job. And plz remember that your hobby is a part of you that’s not meant to be compared or judged. 📚🩶
