I’m loving this story so far! I feel the stakes, but it is complimented well by the humorous narration. Although the events of the story seem out of this world, Ryland’s shock at the events makes the story feel realistic and believable. It’s so gripping and exciting to read.

This book has a very exciting opening. The story follows a man who realizes he’s a scientist who is lost in space, but he can’t remember his name right away. He was in an induced coma, is the only surviving member of his crew, and he has amnesia. He later remembers that his name is Ryland Grace. So far, I am super intrigued and excited to read more.

So far, this is a light easy read. The plot is pretty predictable, but it is still enjoyable. The characters do not have much depth to them, but I'm still liking the lighthearted story.
