Two broken thumbs. Guess that’s what happens in the life of a hustler.

Love the classic noir style. You same smell the pool halls and the sounds of the balls.

Love the gritty style. Like a classic noir novel. There is a respect for the game and the characters that play it.

That whole story Max and his friends got into. That was lifted straight out of “I know what you did last summer”. Now the young cop DeSilva is looking like my suspect for the killer.

Pip is fearless.

Loving this book! I would be proud, but worried, if Pip was my daughter. Lol. So far this has been a very fun read.

Starting this trilogy off.

These two demons meet up in a bar of all places. Hunters can always spot another hunter.

Forgot what a good, straight forward story this was.

It’s always fun to pull a favorite off the shelf & enjoy it again.

They are doing good deeds, but I have a bad feeling they won’t be rewarded later on.

So far this is a different beginning of a story I have read in a western in a long time. 2 older cowboys head a group that get stiffed by the contractor of the herd they just brought to town. So they decide to go outlaw. I like that the main characters are older and think that way. So far a very fun read.

Not really connecting with this story. I let this one sit for a few days and just read a good 80 plus pages yesterday. Still not connecting with Tiger and the death of her mom and the foster homes. I will come back to it on my weekend and give it one last shot.
