I really wanted to like this book. The author did an amazing job of self-promotion. Unfortunately, it is clear why this book was not picked up by an agent or publishing house. So far, this is a poorly written language lesson and world building exercise with a plot that flits senselessly from one place to the next, and the grammar is atrocious to the point of being distracting.

I really wish this author had fought the good fight to find a publisher with an experienced, capable editor who could have helped with some of the geometry of placement errors, incongruities, and atrocious grammar errors. This author had a wonderful idea, but it is so terribly executed that it’s hard to read.

So far, this book is painful. I’m slowly slogging my way through because it seems like an interesting concept. The author just desperately needs to take a writing class, or maybe just pick up a basic grammar book. Sentence fragments and confusing sentence structure are not helping the flow of the prose.
