My first time reading this kind of fantasy novel so we'll see how it goes

Can't remember how many pages I read today and I left the book downstairs so I've guessed it's 101.

Audio transcripts this time which would be fun if I didn't have to take minutes at work based off AI transcriptions so not as fun as The Appeal yet - I will give it time!

Got second hand offended for my mother bc the mc is born in 1968 and called himself an "old man" I BEG YOUR FINEST PARDON

Things are heating uppp - I don't find the texts between the two law students necessary, they just re-hash the info you've just read and then follow every obvious red herring. C'mon besties we're smarter than this!

Okay so Issy let her obsessive side out so I don't feel so bad for her

Enjoying this book so far. I really like the mix of texts, emails, posters etc. But everyone is SO mean to Issy and I don't understand why, she seems very sweet so far, I fear she could be an undiagnosed autistic woman trope (obviously not 'fear' of her being autistic, but 'fear' that that will be used to justify everyone being horrible to her).

Okay so Molly talks like she's from the 1940s which is actually kinda fun juxtaposed with how everyone else speaks. Hoping there will be a plot twist bc otherwise we're just working with the answer anyone (other than Molly (or Fayre from ACOTAR)) could work out from chapter one.

Love the mc, enjoying the plot so far. A little repetitive on descriptions but that's helped me actually remember key points.

got this book from grace so i know it'll be good - already enjoying the writing style and the sister dynamics

Bit tough to get into at first as there's a lot of church-specific language but it's got going now and I'm starting to enjoy the narrative

more interesting than book 2 already

if i keep reminding myself to read this as though i am also still a teenage girl then it's fun but i really do have to keep reminding myself to.

it's gotta be hard to stage a revolution with so much teen angst
