And for anyone who reads this , the author wasn’t really specific , “Mahar” is not a bride price thats is paid for the parents !! It may happen in some cultures, but islamicaly it’s money given to the bride to show that he can afford the marriage like its not a price or the woman!!!! What a degrading way of describing !!! It’s forbidden to be given to the the family of the girl, too...
