I have no idea that this is where the story was going to go at the end of Book 2. I'm sad but more in a "you can never go home" sorta of way that with every step the trajectory of the story changes to where it will never be the same and that hits me in the feels.

I also get why the story is going the way its head, more of "that's a shame that it had to turn out this way"

Imma be honest, I've been reading this book for like 4 weeks now and can't get into it. Like the character is so just so unlike anything I normally enjoy that I can't get past that.
