A kid named august was born with a cleft palate and he was home schooled so he did not get made fun of. he finally goes to school and he meets two friends jack and Julian Julian was not that nice. Jack tells August that they can wear a costume for Halloween.and august dresses up as bloody scream. he walks with his head up because the other days he does not have a mask on.

The 10th chapter just ended and Eric goes in Dan's room and he finds a 12 guage semiatomatic. just as he holds it up the phone rings.Eric puts the gun down and he goes to the phone it is Dr. bob. "Eric good news i found the dogs owner",

big Darell said that the dog could stay one night because Eric told him about what happened with the dog and Old Ma said that Dr. bob was coming later that afternoon. Then Old Ma told Eric that her son died. His name was Dan. Eric Was made so he threw a stick so hard out in the yard and the dog went to fetch it. And the dog dropped it in his hands. Eric loves the dog.

But Eric wants to keep the dog.
