I’m kinda getting tired of books about men being typical men. I think imma start looking for books where women are the antagonists

Very intriguing situations going on. I’m super curious how it gets the “horror” genre tag. I can tell I am going to be up late tonight 🤣 3 hours left….

This is definitely going to be my last sexual assault themed book. I thought i would be okay but these details are going to stick with me for a very long time. I’ll finish it, but yikes. Gonna need some heavy mental self care afterwards. And maybe the most light hearted book ever next.

How to sum up this book in one quote: Why do people who can talk waste time saying nothing?

Holy hell this book sucks 😩😭 Not a lot of action. And when there is action, it’s mediocre. It’s putting me to sleep. I don’t want to DNF but it’s rough to continue

I always listen on 2.0 or higher speed, but the accent is so strong, I’m having to slow it down which I hate doing 😩

I lovedddddd this until it got only to the party. I’m kinda like, I don’t care about the party or what’s going on right now. I much preferred their childhood story

I’m still absolutely loving this book. I feel as if someone is telling me a story about their family and it’s so comforting but heartbreaking

I love a good story. Especially when it’s told in a way where I forget I’m listening to a book, and I feel as if I’m listening in on someone’s family history drama. Love this book so far

With there being 3 different POV’s by 3 women, it got confusing a couple times because some books are really good at showing a clear difference between all the characters, but I kept confusing 2 of the characters so much that I was getting frustrated.

It got better. It’s giving me The Drowning Woman vibes, which is one of my favorite books of all time. So not too bad so far. Controlling men, and spousal abuse TW.

For a book called “On a Quiet Street” these audiobooks tellers sure do scream a lot.

Like damn, they’re really taking the “she exclaimed” to the MAX. I almost DNF’d a few chapters in because the two FMM are insufferable and miserable. But, it does have a great Goodreads rating, so I’m gonna keep going.

I have already read this book but somehow didn’t update it on Goodreads. I might just listen to it again unless I get bored. I remember most of it but I feel like it’s cheating if I put “read” and don’t remember it all 🤣

How did people get through this book. Absolutely nothing has happened in 3 hours and that’s all the time that has passed. 3 hours of absolutely nothing. I’m so bored. But I have read in other reviews that the only good part is the twist, and the other 90% of the book sucks really badly. Sigh. Might just finish it for the hell of it.

What is the point of this book. I’m struggling super hard. I’m hoping it gets better.

Struggling so hard with this audiobook. It’s annoying because of the sound effects and the way sentences repeat. I get why they’re repeating sentences but it is reallyyyy overstimming me.
