No lemme discuss that more. In the horse and his boy the calormenes aren't really portrayed as bad, but here, theyre 'cruel' and their skin colour (theyre black) is described in odd ways; im willing to let that bit slide tho. Then their god comes along, and its LITERALLY a demon. Like???? Hm. The top review (which i think should be marked for spoilers) describes it well
