I’m kinda wishing I knew what the MC looked like. I’ve noticed there hasn’t been any clear descriptions of any characters at all yet, not even a little hint of hair color or eye color yet. Idk if it’s on purpose ??

The more I read, the more I wish the MCs backstory had been focused on. At least a chapter showing it might have been enough. I feel a bit detached to the voice we’re seeing the entire story play out through.

IM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with this concept. It is such a different and raw way to represent the patriarchy. I’ve never seen it presented in a way that felt real and true to me.

The only things I can really complain about so far is some bits of vagueness. I’m not sure yet if it will all come together in the end, it’s still early. It’s just confusing at parts, like I’m supposed to already know something?

I hate to admit that sometimes this book is wildly entertaining. It has some cringe moments, some widely inappropriate relationship dynamics… but it’s entertaining and isn’t that what books are for? 🤔 LOL

Addie has GOT TO be the stupidest female MC I’ve ever read 😭😭 no survival instincts AT ALL. openly admits to knowing something is bad/wrong/dangerous and doesn’t???? Try to prevent it?
