i’ve now finished the equivalent of two books of a trilogy and now… i actually want to stay in the past because i’m scared the present will be sm more painful again 😭 reading about helena‘s life with the eternal flame… my sweet girl, she didn’t deserve any of what happened.

i like hearing about the past and what happened then but i’d honestly kinda prefer going back to the present and knowing what happens next

i actually picked this book to be my night-time reading, but i really wanted to keep reading so i kept going during the day and i’ve now finished 33%, like book 1 of a trilogy. it is surprisingly really interesting to read and it’s so unique. it really got me so curious to just keep going. i’ve actually really come to like this story. i’m interested to see how it’s gonna continue

also der handmaid‘s tale aspekt ist jetzt schon sehr stark hier eingetreten, dachte jetzt irgendwie nicht dass es wirklich so passiert 😭 aber es ist interessant und es gefällt mir immer mehr es zu lesen, die geschichte wird immer spannender

lese seit einer stunde und ich bin immer noch erst bei 6%… 💀 aber es ist eigentlich ganz interessant und gloomy, kann mir noch nicht ganz eine meinung dazu bilden, müsste erstmal weiterlesen

i love reading james islington’s books, they’re so easy to read and interesting, action-filled fantasy without being boring or hard to understand <3

currently feeling like i’m deeply stuck in the minds of these people

ive read 6 pages of the first chapter and the main character is already the most unlikable main character i have ever seen. is she about to be worse than bel? i thought that was hard to overcome. please holly jackson… not again… please… u used to write such amazing books..
