Whew, holy spice. If you're looking for an MM book that so far is mostly spice and less plot, then definitely dive into this
Granted, I'm only 140 pages in, but this popped off from the prologue.

This one is definitely a slowwwww burn. 62% in, and not much has really happened between the two guys besides a few moments. 🥱
Hopefully, it all goes down in this last 38%.

When all the build up with the angst and sexual chemistry finally explode 🥵

I was so hoping for a good read from this one, but sadly, I think it's going to be a DNF for me. The two MMC are in their mid 20's and it feels like I am reading about two teenagers. These two can't even speak to each other most of the time without babbling and not even finishing a sentence. It's just not for me.

I really don't like this FMC. She can be a doormat for her dad and the BS he's pulled, but when Ash has a major problem that is out of his control, she handles it very immaturely and just pushes him out. She doesn't deserve Ash at this point.

I think this is going to be a DNF for me. It's just ridiculous that the MMC has known the FMC less than 24 hours and is already telling her she needs to gain weight along with other things. Like, I know it's a short, fast burn book, but jeez and the MMC is a bit cringe.

Oh, I just knew something was going to happen since most of this story has been loving, but I never expected the author to gut punch me right now 😢

Knox and Ash are just precious 🥰 I just want to wrap my arms around them and protect them both.

I'm really trying to make it through this book, but the FMC is such a b*tch to everyone for no reason. Like I get, she has stuff going on, but it's making it hard to continue. I mean, Cruz has stuff going on to, but he's not out there being an a$$hole to everyone. I do love Cruz, though, so far, so I'm going to continue for now.

Nooo, I was hoping the 2nd book was going to be more of present time since book #1 was all past stuff, but this one so far is still mostly past stuff and it's not holding my interest.

I think this is going to be a soft DNF for me. I'm bored, and I'm not sure if it's just me or the book.

I know I'm only on page 100, but I am so bored. I've heard great things, but then I've also heard it's better on audio, but I'm not an audio girly. Do I keep pushing or do a soft DNF?

I just have to say that I love the chemistry and banter between Calvin and Jamie 🥵😂. More importantly, I absolutely love Calvin so far 😍

I'm enjoying the story so far, but side note I just know Kye story will be my favorite if he gets a book.

I'm totally adoring both Jacobs and Beck 🥰 I love their chemistry and their banter. It's been a good time so far.

I can't remember the last time I came across and FMC that I disliked this much. She acts like a brat and is so childish. I get she's 20 (almost 21), but come on now. She has been taking care of her little sister for 3 years now, so you figured she would have some maturity, but nope, that's not even a thing at this point. I like the idea of the story and that hasn't been too bad so far so I'm going to finish it.

The FMC has annoyed me quite a bit throughout this whole book, but right now, in chapter 37, I want to 🥊 her. #teamdevin

Goodness, this is one angsty, toxic book so far. Just when you think things are going good, BAM, one of them do something that throws everything off. What Ayden did, though, was shocking.

43% in, and absolutely nothing has happened yet 😴 Hopefully it picks up soon, so I don't have to DNF it.

I don't think I've ever read a book where the two main characters are this toxic towards each other for this amount of time. It's actually quite draining.

I was feeling so bad for Taylor these last few chapters, and then he goes and does what he does 🤦‍♀️

I'm only 19% in, but dang, is Taylor putting Huckslee through it. My heart hurts for Hucks 💔

It's a sweet book so far, but that may be the issue for me as I am not used to reading "sweet" books, lol. Clayton though 😍
