common theme this chapter is proles vs party, two very separate classes
Proles can do whatever basically, live real lives
Very poor Life expectancy 60 can gamble, divorce, ext Very uneducated, no real knowledge of the party’s values + politics- it’s kept from them
Also the B.B contrived story of capitalists from “a children’s history textbook… borrowed from Mrs.Parsons,” so funny.
