I’ve gotten to chapter 5 and it’s had a bit of a slow start. I know that it’s not a character driven story, but I really not care for Agnieszka or the dragon. I find Agnieszka pretty annoying and much of her thinking irrational, and as for the dragon he’s an asshole and has little redeeming quality. The story is starting to pick up however, I am looking forward to other chapters.

This is technically my second read through, but it’s the first i’m counting on here. I started reading just after the first then took a break to read other stuff.

Just finished "The Sworn Sword," and absolutely loved it. I loved learning about the first Blackfyre Rebellion, I cannot wait for the second part of Fire and Blood to tell us more. Dunk is probably one of my favorite characters in the world of ice and fire). He is such a great teacher to Egg. I really look forward to seeing how the dynamics between their characters develops, especially after Egg becomes king. 04/16

I finished the first novella just after I got it on my birthday. I've taken a break to read some other things but I really enjoy it.
