I’m so confused by the characterization happening here. Wren is almost a completely different person chapter to chapter. And it’s like she has short term memory loss and forgets she already made up her mind about the thing she’s mulling over. “I like hard she tries to be my friend” “she’s growing on me” GIRL you already said y’all were friends 5 chapters ago

Okay so now that I have released any and all expectations, I’m having a much better time with this

I need to get through this and move onto something good bc this book has me actively fighting through a reading slump

*deep sigh* here we go. A few things to say to start out.
1. A character just said “what in the hellfuck?” and i think I’m going to be sick
2. So far the premise is promising, but the writing is … *shudder*
3. I saw someone suspect that this is Elle Kennedy writing under a pen name and I can see it.

Okay so I started over on the indie pub version of this and am moving over here. Don’t mind me

My insomniac ass was listening to this audiobook until the week hours of the morning and i didn’t realize how close i was to the end

I feel like something’s brewing. And that’s saying something because these guys can’t catch a break.

I would say “let’s get into it” but I’m already well into it. So far MMC has been likened to Rhysand 3 times by 3 separate women.

I don’t even know what to say about this. It’s well written. It’s engaging, but it’s something I wish I wasn’t reading. Or more like I wish it wasn’t something that needed to be written, or something that’s still relevant almost 20 years later, especially this month.

Oh. My. God. EmHen, you genius. I’m very rarely shocked by anything in books. My pattern recognition goes crazy and my brain never stops spinning, trying to fit pieces together. But this one i did NOT see coming until Alice started putting the pieces together for me. NICOLLETT. HAYDEN. MARGARET. AHHHH
