I’m really enjoying this book.

This book recently returned to the Dennis Public Library (aka my basement). I remember loving this book the first time I read it years ago. Just 30 pages into this re-reading, delight and my accent both return with fervor.

I love the premise and the Austen references. The characters and the way they play off one another is fun, but ... so far the story feels rushed, a bit one-dimensional, and there are a few pet words over-employed.

This book has been on my shelves for years. I believed I could draw it’s wisdom from the title and back matter alone. I was wrong. It is far more insightful and challenging than I expected. A pleasant and delightful surprise.
