This novel presents simultaneous perspectives from three protagonists, but ... one is told in third-person past tense; one in first-person past tense; and one in first-person present tense.
I have enjoyed every book by Katherine Reay, but this literary approach, along with the rather depressing tone and content thus far, slows my progress on this one. I don't dislike the book; it just hasn't captured me yet.
