I hope Francis Dolarhyde is more frightening in the books because to be honest, in the TV show he is more laughable than formidable. No offence to Richard Armitage. But he’s just not scary. Not like either version of Hannibal Lecter.

lowkey boring but fuck it we ball

I’ve been reading a lot in the past few days but haven’t logged it because it’s fanfic and I don’t support treating it the same as published works. Mainly because recording makes it more vulnerable to legal scrutiny, ESPECIALLY if it gets logged on sites linked to booksellers like Amazon. Never ever sell or purchase access to fanfiction. Don’t legitimise it, no matter the quality or enjoyment.

Forgets to explain itself frequently. Doesn’t really match up to the “owner’s guide” name. Riddled with jargon and difficult for beginners like me.

The writing style is making me want to shoot myself

What a great writer. I would’ve finished this book in one grateful gulp if it weren’t for formal being tomorrow. Nick Hornby is truly so funny

I am enjoying this. Very Foundation-ish. I should also continue reading Foundation. Oops.

I'm really enjoying this. more about history than neuroscience, but it's sort of like the Veritasium method!!! (bringing up inaccuracies to then correct them for better memory consolidation)
