Once we move past the every other chapter which is part it is much more enjoyable. But the female narrator, Jennifer Jill, reads like a Disney princess and it is *killing* the vibe. I wish I had bought this one instead of opting for the audiobook, she is making it extremely difficult for me to continue to listen to.

I can’t get a good read on this yet, the tone seems to move from contempt to admiration and back that makes it confusing. There continues to be poor application of scripture. He also speaks in a sneering manner in certain areas and makes it seem like Christianity is one big human conspiracy that spans the centuries.

I’m only in the beginning and yet there has already been common misconceptions and misunderstandings of scripture touted as fact. Context matters

I am *struggling* with this one 😬

I don’t understand the love for this book, this should be handed out as a manual for what to look out for in manipulative and abusive relationships.
