idk if its just the pacing or the current situations in the story but im just losing any and all interest rn 😭😭😭😭😭 i am fs gnna continue it but i might just need to take a break for a sec n then continue IT IS GETTING GOOD THO like the mystery is unfolding slowly

im rlly enjoying it so far the beginning felt a bit jarring?? like it just jumps to a different focus on another character who ofc has relation to the previous character but it felt?? disconnected flow-wise although there is a common thread between the scenes . hrmm maybe i need to get further tho just so feel the vibes

i think its bery admirable that the characters are not distinctly good or bad it adds a sense of reality to the situation that i feel like would have cheapened the impact or emotion of the book had it been very cookie cutter characters here + im so glad ruthie actually discovered her family i was so sad the whole book theyre separated

the storytelling is so good and immersive im always waiting for the next detail and what its going to reveal tbh in the first chapter towards the end i was lowk confused as to why when the family returns for the first summer w/o ruthie (333) charlie isnt also w them??? hopefully not a plothole n mayb just me not paying attention lol
