Book club pick from Jen! Mostly lighthearted and fun so far :)

So excited to hear what everyone thinks during book club in ONE week!! Ahhhh

Finally some action- this book was a slow (sad) build, but excited to see it continue to unfold.

Haven’t been reading the past couple weeks - been running, socializing, and watching TDF, what can I say? Read a good chunk today (45 pages) and found 3 typos… This book is sad, but I’m enjoying the journey~

Ate a lot of this up… on my Saturday treadmill run and today’s drive to Dallas. What a wild story from Margaret!

Finally hit the halfway hump! I have been listening on audio but also have a copy on my kindle, and at one point I had to stop the recording and refer to the written chapter to build a family tree before moving on haha. Parts have been more exciting than others….

Twists and turns in every chapter! This book is captivating, educational, and relatable. Can’t wait to finish!

Listened to the BOTM podcast from Jennifer Weiner and decided to give this a try on Spotify! Have been enjoying Dakota Fanning as narrator! Over halfway and still about 7 hours remaining…

Took a long time to get started with in-laws visiting and being sick for a bit. But putting the clues together slowly but surely…

80 pages today, and a roller coaster of emotions. Feels a little more stable where I left off to hit the hay.

This book is so suspenseful but really fun in the world of Olympic-hopeful figure skaters. Really bummed with how this last interaction turned out, but we shall see…

This book has been so well-written and mentally stimulating- not what I expected from a rom-com! No wonder it came so highly recommended, along with the rest of Emily Henry’s work!

This book is so strange, and I don’t really like the narrator, but I’m in too deep to quit. I need some resolution, I guess…

Read quite a bit over Thanksgiving/the week after and then took a long break. Now just picked it up again over the last few days.

These three plot lines are fun to follow within the family tree.

Listening on audio, and I don’t love the narrator. It’s an interesting story, but hard to get through (tough topics).

Read all week while lying on the couch after hurting my back. Read the entire flight to NYC for work. So much agony in these pages, but still so good.

My first hardcover book in a while because it came in the mail as a surprise win from a Goodreads raffle! I have devoured the first 3.5 chapters this weekend and need to find more time this week to read… This author’s power with prose is remarkable.

I didn’t realize how long this book was - the Kindle is deceptive! Making some serious progress… I love the Chief Inspector!

It’s been slow and steady thus far, but things are starting to pick up! Lots of ancestry and hearing everyone’s backstory within the community :)

Listened to 30% on the first day, sheesh. Ended on a sweet note to celebrate Father’s Day.
