I'm not gonna lie. I'm not really a fan of this authors writing style. Almost like a creative writing prompt gone off the rails. It's not bad.. but it feels like it takes away from the story.

I am/was hesitant to let myself enjoy this because the series is incomplete..... but im having a good time😭 forcing myself to go slow so I don't get too into it and feel the need to binge all the available books.

I'm devouring this bitch. And loving every second.

"gbaati (36 minutes in Earth time)." 36 minutes? Why did we have to pick such a specific number. I get it's fantasy.. but like be so for real why can't we just say half an hour. I'm hoping the 36 minutes will become relevant so I turn out to be complaining for nothing. Cause m having to flip back and fourth from where I'm at to the golssary just to see this word means 36 MINUTES 😑🙄

I have a feeling this book is on track to be my first 5☆ read of the year.

Listening to the audiobook and it sucks. For a book with "For readers who enjoy the wicked pleasure of a slow burn. Buckle up. This one’s for you." As the dedication i expected a slow burn. Which i don't feel like I'm getting... as well as wolf and huntyr...ew....I have a laundry list of gripes and I haven't even made it to 25 %
