Great read so far, though there's mention of a "1998 Leica M2" while that camera was discontinued back in '68. REALLY minor niggle though!

Love me some classic Bradbury. "The Kilimanjaro device" was just wonderful.

Loving this one so far. I--as probably many others--bought it because she's married to K-O Knausgård, but she really stands on her own. The beginning is just wonderful: a 12 year old girl, clad in armor, is born from her father's head, but it's set in normal Swedish society. Just a great concept and execution.

Great read so far. The super caves don't seem quite as claustrophobic as I thought but that might change.

Can definitely see that King was inspired by Matheson. Great stuff.

Can't quite put my finger on why, but getting some Koontz vibes at this point.

Almost getting some Reilly vibes in some of the action, just a hair over the top.. but still a good read!

Robinson is definitely improving his writing with every book. Story flows better, characters have a little more depth, while retaining his very creative ideas. Good stuff.

Krakauer's description of climbing Devil's Thumb is incredible.
