Mr. Poe is always scolding the Baudelaires for interrupting him but he just interrupted Klaus twice! What a hypocrite!

I remember the TV show a little too vividly when reading these books.

I'm not that much further cuz I was doing school and playing Just Dance all day. I played Just Dance for like 2 hours and 15 minutes today. Way too much. It's really fun tho.

I like the letters between Poppy and Theo. They're fun to read. The font the author uses to write the letters in is curly and nearly cursive, I like it. I like how they're in a different font from the rest of the book so it's easy to tell difference between Poppy and Theo's letters and the rest of the story.

If Carl were actually in the story and not dead, he would probably be my favorite. There is a chance that Al might actually end up using the store's magic in order to bring Carl back. If that happens and Carl is actually in the story watch me fall in love with his character.

Just one more chapter! It's late, I'm tired, and I'm sick so Imma finish it tomorrow.

I'm ashamed to have read this before reading the rest of the series. I didn't know it was the last book, ok?! I hope I have redeemed myself now that I've read the other books. I'm reading this again cuz I don't remember most of what happened (I read it like 3 years ago when I was sick and probably delusional lol).

Why do I find this so funny? 🤣

Does anyone else add little kid and/or their childhood books to their Goodreads shelves? Or is that just me? If it's just me, I'm not really surprised 'cause I'm a bit of a weirdo.

I'm probably gonna be reading slower than usual now that I've started school. I HATE school.

That is an amazing way to say that you are having difficulty unlocking a door.

I'm reading this for the 3rd time for my book club. I'm glad that we're continuing the series. It's also great that the other people in my book club love the series as much as I do.

I went to book club last night. I love my book club. It's literally my highlight of every month.

It's so sad!!!

I had to go to a picnic for my CCD program after Mass today. And dang was it hot (it still is hot). It's currently like 90 degrees. It rarely gets that hot here. At least I can sit inside with the AC now that I'm home.

I don't know much about the Berlin Wall, but this should help enlighten me.

What does this mean?

"Not a Protestant?" he asked.

This was a quick conversation between Lidia and a church pastor when Lidia hesitated to go inside a church. Was she a Catholic and didn't know if it was okay to go inside a Protestant church? Is the pastor saying it's good enough if she's not a practicing Catholic?

I feel like I'm reading this too slowly.

It makes me sad how much Lidia's mom doesn't care about her. Mothers are supposed to love their children unconditionally and with their whole hearts. I hope Lidia's mom actually does care about her. Maybe she just loves her secretly or just shows her love in strange ways.

My sister did a bookish photo shoot with me today. I'll add some of those to my profile pics once she finishes editing them.
