I would have preferred less focus on somewhat questionable neuroscience, but it’s still a good book.

This is an extremely useful book for understanding and recognizing literary devices. I wish I’d read it years ago.

I’m not going to write this book off yet, but, so far, it has repeatedly made me aware that the author’s narrow-minded political religiosity clouds clear thinking.

The chapter Religion, Continued lays out Marx’ racism against multiple races—including his pro-slavery writing—both public and private, and his immunity from “cancellation” by the Anti-racism religion.

Most Americans have little knowledge of their own country’s history because it is not taught in schools any longer. The intellectuals of the CRT movement have filled that vacuum with a rewritten history whose goal is to make normal the belief that their country, and all of Western civilization, is uniquely evil and responsible for all wrong in the world.

Among other things, the facts and ideas in the book reinforces to me the vacuous ignorance of the vast majority of Americans.
