I feel like this isn't giving small town vibes, but maybe thats bc its not in south? The pacing is very quick and it feels surface level. Mattie isnt really acknloweding her past, like i feel like she should at least be sad sometimes? also, he switched up so fast. They apologized to each other and now thier friends? i prefer a slow burn enemies to lovers, but all that being said, i am having fun reading it

Giles is mean and not in an enimies to lovers type of way, but in an actually mean type of way. I'm not super into him rn, but I'm starting to feel connected to Mattie. The flow of this book is really quick and its entertaining enough

this book is super surface level, like she just got cheated on and lost all of her best friends and i’m not really feeling it as the reader. screw them all tho i feel bad for mattie. this is a great set up for a silly little rom com tho!

so far it’s entertaining but not great writing. it’s a lot of telling not a lot of showing. the conflict is already set up and it seems entertaining enough, but it’s still really early

i love the sisterly heart to heart but i’m pissed at annie for making amelia’s bachelorette party about herself. this beaten up super fan climax is fun tho i’m excited to finish it
