im really liking the different time lines

its so funny already and the imagery is really awesome. im feeling invested already, these characters already have such depth ! the plot is also really intriguing so far

i love how this book is silly and cute while also tackling deeper themes - liking the idea of someone and being disappointed by them irl, accepting parts of you that you haven’t been taught to love, alcoholism, finding your passion, found family, and being comfortable being yourself

this plot is so entertaining - i love that molly and alex are interested in other ppl bc it’ll be so much better when they realize they’re madly in love and perfect for one another

- also natalie is being so mean to my girl alex and i am not having it !!

“she wouldn’t be acting like this if i hadn’t given her reason to feel like this in the first place” ‼️

also - their little english fight about love was soooo hardin and tessa coded of them 🫶🏻

THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE AT PITT!! it is so cool the one character lives on atwood street and the other girls live in nordenberg and one lives in holland - they went to a frat party next to sutherland and IT EVEN TALKS ABOUT THE INDENTS ON THE CARNEGIE LIBRARY STEPS

also the plot is so cute so far

They’re gonna tax the average man to fix the baths and now the newspaper doesn’t want to print the report. No one cares about human well-being, everyone is so focused on $$ (eye roll)

telling the truth - clearing his own conscience and saving people, but loosing the town money and potentially ruining his family
keeping quiet - know ppl are getting hurt, but still be able to provide for his own family

morals vs money

corrupt political system that is just keeping the top 1% in charge and leaving the normal man out of it - the media wants to change that

people are so fast to discredit science when they aren’t able to understand it

im a little bitter bc summer and rhett’s wedding was described from theos pov and i would have liked a more detailed scene of it (eye roll)

SO GOOD! i love how different this is from the other books, but it still feels like chesnut springs. so invested!!

im honestly not fw the voldermort plot line - it’s too serious and makes me anxious. i much rather read about my wizarding friends having fun and being silly

that plot twist was absolutely crazy. i did not expect that all woah
