Kim looks like she's 20, it's been previously established she never seemed to have changed, they've dated since he was 14. A 14-year-old boy dated a magical shapeshifting horse, which is also around 700 years old. WTF

MC leaves out the window like a normal human being

Where is the conflict? I just don't get it? is the mom so afraid that benji is like: Uh, I'm not giving you your shapeshifting powers back.
I don't think forcing him is going to help either
Also, there are certain plot points which don't make sense to me. I'm not sure if I'm a speed reader or there are some clear logical plot holes in this story.

It is so weird, people just drop plot points into conversations, explain stuff, KNOW stuff and gives this information readily, the MC slept with a magical shapeshifting horse (which emits pheromones, drugged him, made him forget about his friends), weird jumps in the plot development, there are DARK and LIGHT fairies- there was a war- wizards...

Finally I'm done

The demon is more likeable than the human narrator. I am so glad the original got replaced.

I hate the main character, I think I'm supposed to, but having to read the thoughts of some deranged dog-killing misogynist is not fun, nor entertaining.

Little sentence variations, characters seem more like mouthpieces, repetitive beginnings, sudden change from third to first person, wish there would be more descriptions, dialogue is stilted, feels more like a philosophy book which pretends it has an actual plot
