*frustration *

I am not sure if I am supposed to feel sorry for these people and their life choices?

Because I don't. Mainly Maria. She got what she deserved. A cheating, controlling husband. All because she wants her "parents" to be happy and have money to survive. Ummm, no....

I do not like Maria. She is 100% a selfish person and only thinks about herself and what's good for her family, all the while hurting other people.

And her excuse is, because it's complicated. Yes, making horrible life decisions is complicated.

I love this book so much. Between the first one and the second, I don't think I've laughed so much.

They really need more interactions. Anytime try start a conversation, it vers off into a two page inner monolog.

Again, it went in the total opposite of what I was hoping. This is not an enemy to lovers whatsoever. Maybe a dislike? It just that, if I was kidnapped at 12 and then ran into this person at college, I would one hundred percent not be mooning over him right off the bat.

I want that slow burn. Unhinged, stalker, crazy MMC. I am barely getting that.

I do not like that they started sleeping together so quickly.

I was expecting this to be more of an enemies to lovers slow burn.... Kinda disappointed in the direction this book took.

I just..... Idk, it's a bit boring.

It's not horrible. Jacob does have some redeemable qualities. The opening scene wasn't my cup of tea. But at least he keeps it in his pants after meeting the MFC.

Finally, something interesting happens again with the nain storyline! Also, the constant reveling in past sex scenes just seems like a page filler. It's unnecessary and doesn't feed the story whatsoever. Especially with under 18 teens. Ick.

This book goes off course way too much. It has way too many little spider webs of mini intersecting stories and povs. I find myself skimming to get to the main plot line.
