The story is somewhat slow moving. But luckily, it's intriguing enough t o keep me invested in the characters. The words part, though, is my lack of attachment to the main character. Whom, I sadly couldn't name if you asked me. That's not a good sign.

So far it's the typical first installment of an epic fantasy series. Slow...dull...and introducing the concepts and world to the readers. You just have to power through with these things and hope it's interesting enough to get the second book. :)

I know nothing of this author and haven't read any of her work before. It's odd to say, given my ignorance, but I am excited to read this story.

It's like I"m watching a fucking movie.

Anybody who knows me will know that I am excited to read this book.

Eh. It's cute, and sweet. But I have trouble accepting the almost immediate forgiving of Rand's past abuse.
