Next prediction: the Basgiath mender is performing experiments on students. The book is leading you to believe he’s interrogating (aka torturing) them, but I think it’s less sinister than that, especially since he said he’d never harm Vi. There’s clearly a divide in adult leadership at this school, so I think he’s in cahoots with Gen Sorrengail.

Here’s a thought: isn’t everyone going to figure out Andarna is a youngling anyway when she shows up some day fully grown? I don’t see how there’s any way around that. And I would think the dragons would have had that foresight, which means there is some special reason why they made an exception for Andarna/Vi, and I bet it has something to do w/ Vi’s dad.

I’m calling it now: Vi and Rhi go through a Now That We Don’t Talk (Violet’s Version) moment at some point in this book.

Interesting how Vi didn’t witness what happened to Liam’a body when he died. We can only go by Xaden’s word 🤔

I also think it’s cringe how much Xaden is publicly claiming Vi as his when she currently doesn’t feel that way. But of course that will change 🙄

I saw someone live react to Fourth Wing using goodreads updates, so I have decided to do the same w/ Iron Flame.

Brennan’s physical description makes me think there may be a twist that he and Vi are only half-siblings.
