OOH! I like this one!! Kenna and Ledger are really unique character names and I like that. I also am glad for the narrative switches every chapter — I appreciate the “wholistic” view of the story. Now, I am off to bed 😴

Ahhhhh so happy! I definitely laughed more than I normally do reading this series — just at things like Lee Jordan’s Quidditch commentary, character sassiness, and I think just joy from the storyline. I wish Harry could live with Sirius for the summer, his life would be so different. Also love bad-ass rule breaking Hermione 😂.

Noticing so many more hints/Easter eggs, like right after Sirius Black is introduced, he talks about how he doesn’t have any other family members than his aunt, uncle, and cousin. Little does he know that Black is his godfather.

Already in a better mood since finishing my last one. I am laughing at the silliest things that are happening and the descriptions 😂

I started this series years ago because I liked Anita’s job in the preternatural world. She didn’t actually do her job until the very end of this book and even then, she didn’t do it. Just assisted on a case via phone call. I also couldn’t keep up with her and her, like, six boyfriends LOL. It’ll be a while before I read #20 in the series.

Finally, the main character is doing her job lol. That only took about 230 pages! 😂

There’s just so much drama. I wish the pace wasn’t so slow. Finally onto scene three.

I’ll finish this but I don’t know if I’ll read book 20 any time soon.

This book is actually ridiculous, I don’t know how I made it to book 19 in this series lol. I am 29% in and basically still in the second scene of the story, the first being a brief dance recital. Granted, I haven’t read this series in a while but we’ve got like 12 simultaneous issues all at once 😅

Wow. Definitely breathtaking, especially the last hundred or so pages. I did not expect to like this book as much as I did. SJM really captures you and your heart with these characters. Truly, I experienced so much more joy and thrill and wanting for the characters.

Couple of lil twists and turns going on. I have this theory in mind that I can’t share bc ✨spoilers✨ but I am wondering if I’m spot-on with it.

Nesta’s character development so far is HUGE! Plus, how she interacts with others (esp Cassian) is actually kind of heart-warming. SJM is sparing no detail to the imagination, writing it all down on the pages lol

ASDFGHJKL something very exciting was revealed on this page. I’m not done reading but I did have to stop and celebrate this momentous occasion in the book.

Did not think I would like the change in perspectives for this book but I’m actually kind of digging it. I didn’t think Nesta was a shallow character prior to this book but I do think I had a shallow understanding of her until this one. And Cassian is cool as fuck.

AHHH OMG. I had to leave off at such an exciting part because of Orangetheory 😭😭😭. I am in the midst of action at the battlegrounds with surprises happening every other page. Still hardcore shipping the MC and her mate like it’s no one’s business. I know a major character death is looming but I’m dreading who it can be 😫

It is nearly midnight and I’m finding myself screaming at the book. I just ended on/with a huge plot twist. I spent most of this afternoon reading and my boyfriend told me that he often heard me giggling, yelling, or smiling at the pages when he passed by. Our MC’s family has changed so much, as well as our knowledge of so many other relationships. This shit is wildddd.

A lot of setup going on since I last left off. Interesting to see how the MC’s siblings are adjusting to their new lives, or lack there of. Also, many interesting developing relationships in play at this point and that’s not including all the forthcoming political relationships. Still very much shipping the MC and her mate.

My eyelids are getting heavier with each page but I don’t want to put it down :(
The speed of the story is increasing, lots of action going on. Happy to see that the map is filled out more and we see the characters exploring new territories.

Faster start than the previous two. Moving into part two now. Couldn’t stop cackling at Feyre being cunning and spiteful. I truly understand now why Ianthe is pronounced bit-ch, although I had a good grip on why by the end of the last story. Only stopping to get a new, bigger bookcase for all these books!

Omgggggg cannot put down. The first 50 were slow again but I think I’m just too excited for the storyline that I want to breeze past the (necessary) exposition. SJM is really good at making me want to switch character allegiances every handful of chapters.

Read a lot at the airport/on the plane. I love how Tamlin and Feyre’s relationship is developing and how he handles her. Lucien’s development makes me giggle my ass off 😂

The slow start really deterred me but now that I’m past that 50 page mark, I couldn’t put it down. Interested in how Feyre changes and Tamlin, too, as the book goes on. I like the banter, a lot. And the character development for the three “main” characters. A little under halfway now 😊

Just getting into the rising action of the story. Our MC Feyre is going through a huge life change.
