She met Wes, went to his hotel room and, like I said before, is going out with Mad and Christine,

Ch 28 pp 306 -319
Maggie left her Mom and is now going out with Mad and Christine.

O.M.G. Evelyn, Margaret’s mom is SO annoying! I mean, she barged in at the wrong time, but not her fault, and she told Wes to get out of her house because he was making out with her daughter and she didn’t like it. And she thought Wes was filling Maggie with “pretty words” because he convinced her to join the hunt and that she could ruin his career if she wanted. She is so rude, I can’t even explain it.

Ch. 27 pp. 293 -299

Evelyn comes and told Wes to leave. Maggie rejected the thought of going away from her home to live with Wes, and now he doesn't know what to do anymore without Maggie.

Going good with a Far Wilder Magic. I am on Ch. 26 p. 282. I am hoping to read until 300. Maybe I could read 20-40 pages extra but I have to see. I think I am going to read till page 330. So can read about 40 pages tomorrow. I have just finished The Dirt Diary on Sunday, so there's one more book on my reading goal.

Meg and Wes have a conversation in the woods in the rain.

Ch 24 pp 270-275

Maggie is running through the woods until she meets the hala, who injures Trouble, and hears Wes calling for her.

Ch. 24 pp. 260 - 270

Maggie tells Wes how her mother was working on the second step of the magnum opus and that a weird creature came and attacked her. Then she left to hunt/get air because that memory was a traumatizing experience for her.

Ch 9
Certainly her mom will question how she got the flight and stuff like that, and she will never believe that her father did the flight arrangements without her consent.

And just because it happened to you doesn’t mean you're entitled to lie and make transactions that could end up getting you in trouble. I mean, trying to hide the fact that you took money that is going to help you go to college and trying to cover it up by paying it back, is childish and immature. And how is she going to tell her mom that she is going to Florida in the summer?

Ch 9
I think instead of thinking about it, she just jumped right into the problem, which she thought was the “solution.” I know she is feeling anger and maybe even grief her dad is gone, but you just need to get used to change. People split up all the time and of course their kids want them to get back together, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen that way.

I think Rachel is overreacting a little bit. She keeps complaining about how her dad ruined her and her mom’s life so the only way to fix it is to get him back. So she forced her best friend, Marisol, to use her emergency credit card to pay for a flight to Florida. To pay her back Rachel took $287.22 from her college fund. So now she has to pay it back, or she will be grounded for life. This is uncalled for.
