Finished the part about Karsa, now I'm happy to meet again the old friends: Fiddler, Kalam, Apsalar and Crokus.

At this stage of the novel, the character I like more is Torvald Nom. His dialogues are so funny and crazy. :)

So far, another good book that promises an engaging story, told in the frank and cruel style of Erikson.

The book is intriguing. I see the influence of hard boiled stories in this one, but the idea of transfer the consciousness it's so vaste to deal with. :)

"Did you want to make a name for yourself? Was it glory you were looking for?”
Something about that word stirred the embers in Clay’s gut. It didn’t matter that he was old, or tired, or that he’d drunk deep enough from glory’s cup to slake a lifetime’s thirst. Saying glory to a warrior was like saying walk to a dog—you got its tail wagging, sure as shit.
This is a real motivational speech. To the battle!

Wow! I mean.... Wow!! Finished Chapter 47, many sad moments in the last, but even a great revelation! It's too early and I can't imagine how a little band can face the horde, even though these old guys seem to have taken some steroids!

I loved this novel, because there is adventure, funny characters and a lot of action. But, more I read this book and more I think Saga are depicted like a music band: they made some tours around the country, they had an agent and Gabe is defined "the frontman". Anyway, I love this book. :)

I thought this story become adventurous, but it's even more funny. Moog is naive and little crazy and Matrick is a villain disguised as a king. :)

So far, a nice story, with some sad moments, but also with a touch of humor. The good old days are come again for these guys!

Time to another reading of this wonderful book! I love the humour and the richness of dialogues, often a little bit twisted, but wonderful.
